Wanda Sykes breaks the late-night TV barrier
She's a splash of sass with a tongue like a whip, not hesitant to tell it like it is. And now she's breaking into the male-dominated late-night TV circuit with style.
Wanda Sykes is coming to late night on Fox Saturday Nov. 7 at 11/10 Central. Her sense of humor and sharp remarks are sure to be in refreshing contrast to the Daves and Conans that are typical of late-night TV.
Her show will feature a monologue, roundtable discussions about current events as well as interviews - all injected with her zesty personality. Her experience as an actress as well as a stand-up comedian is sure to help her and perhaps pull in a whole new demographic of television viewers.
One difference is in the show's set, which has been designed to be more like a party than your traditional talk show. For example, the huge "W" spins around to show a fully stocked bar. The giant TV screen ensures that every audience member has a front row seat for the clips being discussed, or, mocked.
If you can't wait until the premier, you can view exclusive video extras and interviews at
